Not exactly "ancient" but I thought I'd post this as I find it interesting.
About 10 minutes walk from us I've found a stone circle set on a hillside. It's recent, it wasn't there 12 months ago. They're developing the area around with new houses, I assume it was created as a feature out of stone found while preparing for the houses, although I honestly don't know if this is correct.

I don't know how old the stones are, but they've been placed in the last 12 months (I don't go down there very often, shops are the other way lol)
