Photos & pictures
A good website to store your digital photos on is PhotoBucket

www.photobucket.com

It's free to register and use, and the saved photos have a link to paste straight into the posts. Simply select all and copy the IMG link underneath, then paste where you wish the picture to go.

Alternatively just use the Add Image To Post link underneath the text box when creating a post.

Videos
I use DailyMotion to store my short home videos (file size up to 150mb)

www.dailymotion.com

As with PhotoBucket it's completely free. Click on the video you wish to share then copy and paste the URL into the post.

For example:

http://www.dailymotion.com/Bebi/video/109023
