Well I've gone and done it now, I spilt coffee on my laptop this morning and it kind of doesn't work any more Smilie_PDT

I've now set my desktop pc up in my corner, but I've gone and lost access to everything that was on the laptop. I think I'll survive, but I'd spent weeks compiling a Neopets database to keep track of prices of items Smilie_PDT

And all the recent photos we'd taken are on that hard drive also. Oh well, it needed a new screen anyways so it'd probably be easier to get a new laptop and put my old hard drive in it.

*sings* Oops I did it again...

Well, I didn't, hubby did LOL He was looking for something and managed to knock my coffee off my table straight onto my keyboard. Suffice to say said keyboard is now kind of not working (it does, but the E key holds itself down, which has led to some amusing comments about it being on drugs lmao), so I've had to hook up my old keyboard which is a pain in the proverbial as it's a ps2 connection and the cable isn't quite long enough to reach round the edge of the sofa from the back of the pc onto my lap. My new/dead keyboard was usb, and I plugged it in the front of my pc so I had plenty to play with, with this one I have to rest it at an angle on the arm of the sofa, which makes it quite a bind to type, and makes my wrists hurt after a while.

While I was typing this, he managed to tip coffee onto his mouse Smilie_PDT

oh dear... He's not having a very good relationship with coffee at the moment....

Edit: oh by the way, we finally got the information off my old laptop hard drive last night. Karma...?

I was going to go and buy an identical keyboard to the one that's recently died from a local shop. This shop is the only one I've found selling this keyboard, and since I decided to go and get another it has now closed down... Smilie_PDT
