Musical inspirationWhich bands/artists inspire you? Do you have a particular song or lyric that means a lot?One of my favourite bands is James (sadly no longer together). Like most people my first experience of James was Sit Down in the early 90's, and that song triggered a life-long passion. I've collected all their releases, got quite a few t-shirts, and can yak on about them for England if allowed to do so LOL Oh, and I also travelled to Scotland to buy a signed record, and have wished Larry happy birthday personally on the Official Forum. Yes, I'm a lost cause hehe. Unfortunately they split before I had a chance to see them live... Something I regret. Many fellow James fans find the lyrics very moving, and although I can't speak for all, I myself love the instrumentals as much as the finished songs. James were heavily into improvisation as a creative method, and released Wah Wah Kits alongside Laid under the wing of Brian Eno.
