Left-handednessI was discussing left-handedness earlier and decided to make a post about it.
Although not being left-handed myself, I do a couple things left-handed such as eating and wearing a watch. I always used to get into trouble at school for holding my knife and fork “the wrong way round” (ie fork in my right hand, knife in my left). For me it just seems sensible to hold my fork in my dominant hand as that’s the hand that propels the food to my mouth lol As for wearing a watch, I’ve always worn it on my right wrist, facing inwards. I can just about write left handed, albeit with difficulty, but cannot do things such as using a mouse left handed, so I don’t consider myself truly ambidextrous.
I’ve also known quite a lot of people who are left handed: my father (perhaps a source of my slight ambidextrousness?), my step-brother, my best friend at school, both husbands (not intentionally I might add LOL), and at least five or six other people whom I’ve known briefly. This makes ten or eleven people in total.
I looked up the Wikipedia page regarding this for some information. It says “In 1977, a study suggested that approximately 8 to 15% of the adult population was left-handed.”, I don’t know how these statistics would apply to the average person and how many left handed people they know, but in the past people I’ve spoken to seem to think I know a higher percentage of left-handers than the norm.
This is the synopsis of the Wiki link, I found the mention of guns and oppression highly amusing

Bebi,
Remember what we discussed in chat. If the ambidexterity becomes too intense, please take the extra strength Darnitol. The commercial name is F-ITOL, which you may recall.
As for firing shots, I'm left-handed, too. That relates to target practice. Hmm... I suppose that could be phrased more appropriately. It's when I'm holding my weapon. Is that wrong?
