Below is my satirical outlook on behaviors and sentiment of which society is encouraged to partake on an incrimental basis throughout the year.
August is National Forgotten Christmas Toy Drive Gift Recipient Remembrance Month
Have you kept in touch with that needy child?
Do you remember the name?
You didn't even send a Valentine card last February?
Not so much as a can of soup?
No unwanted jars of artichoke hearts from the back of your cupboard?
Geez! How special do you feel now?
Poor little Gloria still hasn't found limbs for her Venus De Milo themed Barbie that someone pilfered from a Toys "R" Us recycling bin.
How was Billy expected to ride that rusty unicycle without a seat? You should be aware that he rode it anyway, and don't ask about the nicknames he earned at the orphanage.
For future reference, Adult Pleasure World is not an appropriate establishment to be purchasing items for the toy drive. Normally, guidelines dictate donating unwrapped toys, and you're the reason why.
Donation bins are not intended for garbage, and certainly not cigarettes. Our Wichita chapter suffered 3 injuries and 2 deaths last December due to lit cigarettes being tossed into a bin where a pyrotechnician chose to leave his surplus of fireworks from July 4th.
