Spiraling into an empty void of darkness:
Heavenly bodies in the realm of outer space,
Not Beverly Hills plastic surgery centers,
Careen into a black hole that is us... one.
As time and space congeal to the infinite,
Tepid, neglected Jell-o molds liquefy.
Six billion humans blend, whip, and puree,
Variety the lice, with unity as the spice.
Fleas and ticks upon the puppy of creation.
Collars to stifle forces meant to balance.
Scratching the unreachable itchiness,
Begging for the hair of the dog that bit us.
