I love plants, the only problem is we don't really have a garden here, just a path to the front door. Here are some photos.
One of my lemon balm plants with some others on the kitchen windowsill. The Rowan is now outside in a large pot (I rescued it from a crack in some concrete at 4 leaves old lol) and the lemon balm is to be an office-warming gift for Maria
My rats tail cactus, it keeps having babies...
Above-mentioned babies, one of which is soon to be rehomed with Maria
My other lemon balm plant (Andy calls them triffids lol)
My bathroom spiderplant in bloom

Here is my (lack of a) front garden:
As you can see having no garden doesn't stop me from growing things. I intend to have a row of planters running the length of the wall. Currently I'm mainly growing herbs for cooking, but I'm slowly collecting other plants and investing in more planters as time goes by. It's a bit late for starting off hanging baskets, but next year I'll have some! I love putting spider plants in hanging baskets - they love being outdoors in the summer and go absolutely bananas.
Here are some more photos:
The herbs; from the left - chives, curry plant & sage (green planter). Oregano (pot). Selection of flat and curly leaved parsley (with a box of cress). Bumper crop of black peppermint in the far right planter. Black peppermint is delicious, it's stronger than ordinary mint. The four plants in the corners of the mint planter are trees I've rescued from concrete pavements on walks out that I haven't had a chance to pot up properly yet (I'm always popping different plants in with others lol). I also have some larger trees that are currently down the cellar under the grill (sunlight streams in there) that are waiting for proper planters.
Some close-ups:
My Rowan that used to be on the kitchen windowsill:
I've placed it in the corner as the pathway is a real wind trap and I'm a little concerned it might break the stem. Next year I'm intending knocking up a wooden shelter for the cats in the corner so they have somewhere to hide away, and I'm having some planters on top.
I am thinking of setting up some sunlight lamps in the cellar so I can extend my growing space, but I'm still undecided. I'm also thinking of creating a cold frame under the grill with a water trap on top. I have some old single glazed windows down there that would fit nicely, but again it's just something that's in the pipeline at the moment.
