I'm sure we've all heard of the old adage that the moon affects people's mental health. This thread is on a similar vein, but not inclusive of mental health.
I've noticed over the years that my insomnia comes in cycles, worse in the summer and around the time of a full moon. The night before last I couldn't sleep at all, and last night despite having had no sleep I still found it diffucult to sleep. While I was trying to drop off my thoughts turned to the moon. I normally haven't got a clue on which part of the cycle the moon's on, so today I did a little research. I found out the moon's waning gibbous at 95% full today, which basically means it's just been full and is now moving towards half. (it was officially full on Wed 3rd Jan 2007 at 3.55pmGMT) which is quite interesting as it was Weds night I didn't sleep at all...
Does anyone else have any unexplained "moon swings"?

I hate insomnia! LOL
Yup, another night without sleep. Moon's waning crescent today, currently 1% of full, so very almost a new moon.
