Does anyone know of any good free family tree software? I just need a template that will let me build it, I already have the tree on paper, I want to computerise it.

Also, some advice on how I can extend this and search further back would be helpful. The earliest entries are 1870ish. I'm new to this and would like to continue where one of my relatives left off.

I've now found a great website regarding genealogy - http://www.genesreunited.co.uk - many many thanks to Bella_B from UM for letting me know about it.

I've not worked out how to directly link to my tree yet, but when I do I'll add it.
